START AN ORAL CARE ROUTINE AT HOME

Ideally, plaque should be removed from your cat's teeth every day before it mineralizes to tartar. By brushing your cat's teeth each day you will remove plaque buildup. In addition, it is important to feed a specially formulated dental diet such as Hill's Prescription Diet T/D to help reduce the accumulation of plaque and tartar from the teeth. Talk to your veterinarian about which dental home care plan is best for your cat.
