AN OUNCE OF PREVENTION IS WORTH A POUND OF CURE.

This holiday season, take the time to ensure a safe and inexpensive holiday for your feline friend. The list above contains items that cause problems for naturally curious cats. Please take a few minutes to look over the list and then make sure these items are not within your cat's reach. Keep in mind that, if your cat were to ingest a disagreeable item, veterinary cure, which might include an emergency visit, x-ray, hospitalization, surgery and so forth, could reach well over $1500.00!!! This could easily put a damper on a festive season so look around and prevent the problem.

Should a problem occur, please call us immediately at (617) 266-7877. If we are not available, please take your cat to the nearest emergency hospital (see emergency info page). If you have a question regarding whether something is poisonous for your cat, you can call the Angell Animal Poison Control Hotline at 877-2ANGELL.
